Mind-Body-Baby: Postpartum Yoga

Service Description

Mindfully sequenced for all postpartum experiences, each class aims to rebuild strength, stability and connection, while also providing space to rest and recover in a safe, supportive community. While this class is best served as a source of solo self-care for [new] moms, babies are welcome if/when need be. ALL SKILL LEVELS & STAGES OF POSTPARTUM WELCOME* No experience necessary. Comfortable, supportive active wear and layers (especially socks) are recommended, but not necessary. Class setup includes a yoga mat, two blocks, and a bolster.** This class is practiced with traditional music and/or chanting. *Please obtain clearance from your medical team before beginning this or any other physical activity post labor and delivery. For liability reasons, you must be at least 6-weeks postpartum to participate. **If you do not have these items at home, you can use use a chair, foot stool or ottoman, tissue boxes, or new paper towel rolls in place of blocks. Towels, blankets, and/or pillows can be substituted for a bolster.
