whyVILLAGEMIND?

Because it takes a [mindful] village.

Here at Village Mind, we believe in the proverbial wisdom that it takes a village to raise a child, support a mother, grow a family, and generally live a happy, healthy, fulfilling life. We also recognize that sometimes it takes a gentle reminder to remember that we actually have and benefit from connecting with our village.

Village Mind serves as both a gentle reminder and guiding force toward creating and reconnecting with community. Our mission is to engage and empower a culture of kind awareness in schools, corporations, private clubs and studios, and just humans in general.

Through individualized consulting and practice-based coaching programs, Village Mind provides a holistic approach to health and wellness with mindfulness at its core. We call it mindful wellness.

We offer evidence-based and data-driven mindfulness programming and instruction for schools and youth organizations, as well as effective and highly demanded professional development courses, practice-based workshops, and intensive retreats in corporate settings. Village Mind also partners with local and national clubs and studios to help fitness-minded members take their health and wellness to the next level. What’s more, we design and deliver personally tailored programs for small groups, families, couples, and even 1-1 coaching for individuals.

Whether we’re working with students and teachers in K-12 classrooms, high-power execs in corporate America, professional athletes, or first-time parents learning to adjust, Village Mind gives individuals the tools necessary to connect more deeply inward, with the intention of empowering an outward culture of mindful wellness.

Through the development of personal mindful wellness practices, we forego our need to be humans doing and return to human beings. It is only once we slow down, become aware, and live in the present that we can begin to connect and create community. When we tap into our Village Mind, we can begin [re]building our mindful village.

Join us in the movement to develop a Village Mind in ourselves and our world. Together we can be the change. After all, it takes a village.
